Glutton Gull

After witnessing their childhood gull pal being punted into the stratosphere by a monstrous human, our heroic gull takes on a mighty quest— revenge. Explore the island, hunt down food, avoid cruel locals, and see if you can become the ultimate Glutton Gull.
The theme for GMTK 2024 was "Built to Scale." So, how might our game fit that theme you might ask? Well, steal and eat food as a seagull, and your seagull will physically grow in size! When you become large enough, you will even be able to eat the food CARTS, and eventually? Well, you'll have to see for yourself >:)

-More "enemies"
-More food variety, different and dedicated spawns, and food-specific effects
-More map props/art
-Much more, even including a short intro cutscene??!

Very fun! Great work especially for a first game jam, you and your team did an excellent job throwing this together. I did encounter a bug when I reached the third stage where you eat the buildings, my camera shot off the map. Besides that bug, no issues and visually the game has a wonderful look.
Feature wise, I think it would have been fun to be able to fly in the smaller sizes, and perhaps some other ability when you get larger, maybe something to consider if you continue with the game!

Anyways, I definitely have lots of plans to improve this game! There were plenty of things, including flying, which were initially planned but had to become stretch goals due to time. You can certainly expect to see new content in the comings weeks!
